Isaac Eghiaruwa “Isick” is an Abuja based Afro/Hip-Hop/bashment artiste and song writer signed to Red Star Media a subsidiary of HOT FM Abuja and Owerri.
Isick who hails from Edo state Nigeria, is an undergraduate of computer science at leadcity university Ibadan Oyo state. Isick started music at a young age, citing Jay z,nas, lupe fiasco,Mode 9, BIG,kanye west,mase,common and lil’ wayne as influences. He started recording demos,freestlying and battling underground in school and in Abuja where Afro hip hop music is a way of life.
His underground hustle led to a chance meeting with the MD of HOT FM Abuja and Owerri Mr Ndu Scott anyawu and he immediately offered him a deal and signed him to his REDSTAR MEDIA imprint and the rest they say is history,
Isick has performed at major shows like the grand finale of felaberation 2012, after performing at some of the biggest events in Abuja,like d fred bright show,the benny arc show,crack ya ribs,iyanya’s forth coming album launch.and many more. opening for big acts like Tuface Idibia, MI Abaga, Wizkid,durrella,vector,goldie,jjc nd so much more,He is currently working on his debut album and mixtape with prolific producers and artistes like Mr Seth, Itskandysugabeat,e-kelly,jay sleek, and artistes like femi kuti,iyanya,Harrysong,posly td and some suprise international acts
Having dropped four single off the WARD1: mixtape respectively KEMAJO,YOUR NAME, KOMUJOJO,HOMETOWN and most recently “Grind on me”
