MUSIC: A-Q - Bang

Following the demise of his father, A-Q has had to keep a low profile, taking time to restructure his Hustle Inc. label and strategy, he is back with a new track and video titled ’BANG’! Something very different from his original sound, The track contains cleared samples from Femi Kuti’s 1995 original classic - Beng Beng Beng.

Just after the high-flying rapper A-Q secured license to sample the afrobeat track and instrumentation from the family of the legendary Kuti family (making Femi Kuti a co-own of the song), he went on set with AK-one to deliver the visuals for his new single titled ‘Bang Bang Bang.’ The afrobeat meet rap musical backdrop is a masterpiece.

This combination provides nothing but beautiful music to groove to. ‘Bang’ was produced by Beats by Jayy and the wonderfully put together video which would drop soon - with a premiere event next week Wednesday at the Get Arena venue of the Industry Nite - was directed by Mr. AK One and styled by Afolabi.
