Alicia Keys ignites the screen in the
“powerful, sultry, and fun” video for “Girl on Fire,” the first
single off her upcoming
album
of the same name. The Grammy-winning singer shows her superwoman
strength as a mother, wife, and daughter in the Sophie Muller-directed
clip (Beyoncé, No Doubt). Nicki Minaj does not appear in this
particular video, but there may be an alternate version for the Inferno
mix.
Alicia just wrapped her album this week. Due November 27, the follow-up to 2009’s
The Element of Freedom is expected to
feature collaborations with John Legend, Babyface, Emeli Sandé, Pop & Oak, Swizz Beatz, and a duet with Maxwell.
